Front-page is the term used in newspapers for a story that will appear above the fold on page one. The story may be important enough to merit being featured on the main page, even if it is not as important as other stories occurring in different parts of the world that would ordinarily be featured elsewhere. It is also the name of a news website, Reddit, which describes itself as “the front page of the internet.” A 1993 Fox television series called Front Page was a newsmagazine show hosted by Andria Hall, Tony Harris, and Vicki Liviakis. It was cancelled due to low ratings.
